This summer, we’re absolutely infatuated with everything pineapple. Not only are they the perfect fruit for the summer, but they’re so darn cute!
Pineapples have that perfect balance of sweet and tart, and they’re packed with healthy vitamin C and manganese. Not to mention the fact that they make some pretty delicious foods and drinks.
Our fav thing about pineapples though is that they symbolize welcoming and hospitality. There’s a reason you see all those pineapples in the South! Turns out pineapples became associated with welcoming when explorers would return home from the Caribbean with gifts of pineapples. Who knew?!
