Unless you’re one of the Indiana Mole Women from “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”, you probably know that it’s presidential primary season. Baby kissing, improper pizza eating, failed metrocard swiping, and ridiculous macho talk aside, this Tuesday is New York’s Primary Election, and we’ve made sure to cast our votes!
Politics and government can be confusing and frustrating, but elections give you a voice to affect change. If you haven’t already, register to vote immediately, learn about the candidates, find one you can stand behind, and cast your vote!
If you’ve already registered to vote, you’re good to go for the presidential primary. Find your local polling location here. If not, be sure to register now so that you can vote in the congressional primary and November general election. If you live in New York, register here.
Three of the 5 remaining candidates call New York their home, so there’s a decent chance our next President could be a New Yorker. Now that’s definitely a reason to get out there and make sure your views are being represented!
