THE ULTIMATE GUAC
Really though, what’s a party without a proper guac? The answer is, not the best super bowl party of all time!! That’s why we’re spoon feeding you a no fail, no frills, classic guac recipe. Don’t screw this up!
INGREDIENTS:
3 avocados, halved, seeded and peeled
½ lime, juiced
½ lemon, juiced
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
½ medium onion, diced
½ jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
1 clove garlic, minced
METHOD:
Using a potato masher, mash the avocado halves with the sea salt and crushed red pepper flakes. Fold in the diced onions, minced jalapeno pepper, diced tomatoes, and minced garlic. In a separate bowl, combine lemon and lime juice. Add 1 tablespoon of the juice at a time to your preference. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour and then serve.
